Contract terms
Driver’s license: The driver must have a European or international driver’s license for the corresponding SCOOTER and ATV category, valid and issued in the renter’s country of residence at least one year before the rental date.
Insurances: All rental prices include simple liability insurance. The renter is responsible for any damage or theft (partial or total) caused to the rented vehicle up to the amount of its commercial value at the time of the accident/theft. The renter pays the amount corresponding to the damage to the Rent Scooter Skiathos vehicle, regardless of fault and the amount paid is returned to him when and as long as Rent Scooter Skiathos is compensated.
Theft insurance: Valid only by agreement and at extra cost.
No Insurance Coverage Applies:
For anything that happens and it is found that the driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
For accidents caused by a driver not stated in the rental contract.
For accidents in which the renter has not informed the Rent Scooter Skiathos station and submits a relevant accident report, as defined by Greek Legislation, regardless of his fault.
The amounts related to the damage or loss of the vehicle are paid directly by the lessee even if he is covered by insurance and by his debit/credit card. In this case, the renter is obliged to pay Rent Scooter Skiathos the entire cost of repairing or replacing the vehicle.
Rental duration: Minimum rental duration is one day (24 hours). A delay of more than 2 hours is charged an additional rental day
Driver’s age: Minimum age for the 50 cc category is 21 years, for the 125 cc category 24 years and for the over 400 cc category 25 years.
Fuel: Fuel costs are borne exclusively by the lessee. The lessee is obliged to return the vehicle with the contents of the tank as received.
Helmet: A free helmet is offered to the renter.
Reservations: To reserve a vehicle, a deposit of 20% of the rental is required in cash or by credit card.
Roadside assistance: Free roadside assistance.
Deliveries – Collections: They are made at our store, at the port, at the airport and even at accommodation upon agreement without any additional charge.
Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation of the reservation, the deposit is non-refundable.
Payment method: The vehicle rental is paid in cash, by bank deposit or by credit/debit card Visa, Mastercard, Maestro.
Traffic Violations – Fines: All fines and administrative penalties are borne by the lessee.
Taxes: All prices are subject to VAT as determined by the state.
The renter is not allowed to use the vehicle for speed races, mud races or sand rides.
The lessee must lock the vehicle each time it is parked.
The vehicle may only be driven by the driver and the persons listed in this rental agreement.
The lessee is not allowed to transport the vehicle outside the island.
The lessee is obliged to return the vehicle to the lessor company in the same good condition in which he received it.
In case of mechanical damage, the lessee must immediately inform the lessor company.
In the event of an accident, the lessee must report the incident within 24 hours, otherwise he immediately becomes solely responsible for any damage caused.
The renter expressly agrees that the company Rent Scooter Skiathos is not responsible for any positive or consequential damage suffered by the renter or third parties during the rental and no claim can be raised against it for the above reasons.
